100 Posts

Needless to say I have not posted in a while. No one seems to have noticed so I have not been in a hurry to post any more. Tonight as I post, Katie has a friend over to spend the night. The four kids are in the living room watching a movie and eating popcorn. Lots has happened but I won't bore you with the day to day. Coy continues to improve with his speech. He continues to eat well and sleep well. He sometimes struggles with short term memory and he has not even gotten close on staying dry through the night. He is now sleeping in a big bed since we bunked the boys beds.
I need to mention that all of the pictures on the post are courtesy of Caleb. He and Katie both got digital cameras for Christmas and Caleb is quite the photog and Coy is one of his favorite subjects. Coy is usually willing but has become increasingly less patient with the camera from Caleb.
The most blog worthy story from the past three months has to be the "Talking Potty" at Golden Corral. About a month or so ago, while we were eating at Golden Corral, Caleb decided that he needed to go to the restroom. Approximately 30 seconds after Caleb gets up, Coy decides that he needs to go as well. I took Coy to the men's room where Caleb was already in the stall. As Coy began to pee, Caleb starts calling his name from within the stall. The layout of the bathroom made it sound like the voice was coming from the potty. Coy's eyes became HUGE as he looked at me and proclaimed that the potty was talking. Caleb, being the witty one, started saying other things besides Coy's name to make Coy think that the potty was really talking to him. Eventually, the talking potty (Caleb) told Coy that he needed to go back to where his mother was sitting. Coy dutifully obliged. It was long after we sat back down that Caleb showed up and listened to Coy tell his talking potty story. We laughed. We went back to Golden Corral today for the first time since then. When I took Coy to the rest room today, he asked why the potty was not talking. Too funny.
