101 Posts and almost 2 Years Later

It has been so long between posts that I have too much to write about making me lose interest in writing. It all happens too fast. Life is happening too fast and the kids are growing up too fast. Since the last post we have survived the ice storm (and 3 days without power), a mini-vacation, basketball season, and gymnastics.
Katie has started soccer and softball and Caleb is playing baseball again. Coy is a great cheerleader.
I wish I had more energy because there are so many things that I would like to share. The biggest news I guess is that Katie will be getting baptized in the near future. That is awesome. Caleb is right there too but he just hasn't been ready to make that jump yet.
These pictures are all from Caleb's camera. He asked me on Friday night to download his pictures and I did. Then on Saturday, we went for a walk in the park and he took some really good photos. Maybe I will get them up here in the summer some time.
On April 12, it will be two years since we visited the SDA in search of a child or children to add to our family. Man does time fly on this side of things. It doesn't seem like two years have gone by. I wish there was someway that I could slow time down and keep them small for a long, long, time but that wouldn't be fair to them. They keep growing up and they amaze Stacey and me with their wisdom and wit.
Stacey commented today that we need to teach Coy how to read a calendar because his favorite question to ask right now is "What do I have today?" Between his pre-school, CBS, speech, and gymnastics, plus he and Stacey volunteer at the school library a couple of times a month, church on weekends, AWANA (Cubbies), and just other stuff, we stay pretty busy.
Coy has gotten to the point where he can tell us which letter a lot of words begin with. He is really improving with his S sounds. The F sounds seem to give him the most trouble. He tries really hard though.
I will try to post again closer to Coy's 2 year adoption day anniversary. I want to post some then and now pictures for me to see just how much he has grown in just a short amount of time.

Thank goodness you are back on track; wonder how long it will last this time? The pics are so cute, and I am glad to see the kids in action. You are right; it doesn't seem like almost 2 years since you went to the Ukraine but by the same token, it seems as if Coy has been a part of the family for a long time. You are so fortunate to have such a sweet, loving family.
Love,
Aunt RA
